Welcome to Sniped! Sniped is a platform designed to help friends connect in the real world.

Sniped is currently under development and has not yet launched its beta version. This Privacy Policy describes what we expect to collect, how we plan to use it, and the choices you will have once the Service becomes available.

If you are a minor and do not understand this Privacy Policy, please review it with a parent or legal guardian before using Sniped. Sniped is not intended for children under the age of 13.

Location Data. With your permission, we may collect your GPS location data to help you find and connect with friends in real time. You can control location sharing through your device settings and within the app.

We may receive information about you from other users, such as when:

  • A user syncs contacts and your information appears in their address book
  • A user tags or references you in shared content

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Enable real-time connection with friends

If you delete your account, we will delete or de-identify your personal information within a reasonable period, except where retention is required to comply with law, meet regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, or protect the safety and security of users and the Service.

  • Block or remove friends
  • Delete content you have shared
  • Delete your account
  • Request access to or deletion of your personal information

7. Children's Privacy

Sniped is not intended for children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have done so, we will delete the information promptly.

Users between the ages of 13 and 18 should use Sniped only with parental or guardian permission.

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

Sniped is based in the United States. If you access the Service from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the Service evolves. We will notify users of material changes through the app or by email.
