Welcome to Sniped! We're building something new to help friends connect in the real world. Since we're still in development and haven't launched our beta yet, this Privacy Policy explains what we plan to collect and how we'll handle your information when our app launches.

If you're a minor and aren't sure you understand everything in this Policy, please talk with a trusted adult before using Sniped. Sniped is not intended for anyone under 13 years old.

Location Data: With your permission, we collect your GPS location to help you find and connect with friends in real time. You can control location sharing in your device settings.

We may receive information about you from other users, such as when they sync their contacts and you're in their address book, or when they tag you in content.

  • Enable you to find and connect with friends in real time
  • Show you content from your friends

  • With Your Friends: Your username, profile picture, and content you choose to share are visible to your friends on Sniped.

We keep your information only as long as necessary to provide our services or as required by law. If you delete your account, we'll remove your data within 30 days, except where we're legally required to retain it.

  • Control who sees your location
  • Block or remove friends
  • Delete content you've posted
  • Delete your account at any time
  • Request a copy of your data
  • Request deletion of your data

7. Children's Privacy

Sniped is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we learn we've collected such information, we'll delete it immediately.

If you're between 13 and 18, please get permission from a parent or guardian before using Sniped.

8. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information. However, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International Users

Sniped is based in the United States. If you're using our service from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as we develop and launch Sniped. We'll notify you of any significant changes through the app or via email.
