Reporting & Blocking
If You See Something, Say Something
Report content or users that violate these guidelines:
- Tap the three dots on any post or profile
- Select "Report"
- Choose the reason
We'll review all reports and take action when needed
Block users if needed:
- Blocking prevents someone from seeing your location, content, or contacting you
- They won't be notified when you block them
- You can unblock users anytime in your settings
What Happens After a Report
- Our team reviews every report
- We may remove content, issue warnings, or suspend accounts
- In serious cases (threats, illegal content, child safety), we may contact authorities
You can appeal our decisions by contacting us
Enforcement
We take violations seriously. Depending on the severity and frequency:
- First-time minor violations: Warning or temporary restriction
- Repeated violations: Temporary suspension (7-30 days)
- Serious violations: Permanent account suspension
- Severe violations (child safety, violence, illegal activity): Immediate permanent suspension and potential law enforcement notification

Building Something Better Together
These guidelines help us create the kind of community we all want to be part of: one where real friendships can grow and everyone feels safe, respected, and valued.
Research shows that despite social media's promise to connect us, young people today feel more isolated and find it harder to make real friends. We're building Sniped to change that. By bringing people together in the real world, we're working to make social media actually social again.
Thanks for doing your part to make Sniped a positive place.
Questions?
These Community Guidelines may be updated as Sniped grows and evolves. We'll notify you of significant changes.
